Pricing Philosophy

I try my best to charge a fair price for the VALUE I DELIVER, rather than the TIME I EXPEND.

When the work you want done can be accurately estimated, I’ll give you a fixed price. If it takes longer than I estimated, that’s my problem. You won’t get surprised, and I can work at any speed I choose.

When I simply can’t estimate how long something will take, I charge $40 per hour with a 2 HOUR MINIMUM for small projects (waived for regular customers).

When I finish a project for you, I want you to believe that you got more than your money’s worth. If you DON’T feel that way when you get my bill, just pay me any amount you think is fair (as long as it covers any materials and expenses), and mark the bill “Paid in Full”.

If I disagree with you, I might not work for you again – but we’ll still be neighbors.
